Library Changed My Life 

We at the Central Islip Public Library would like to take the time to thank everyone who participated in the county-wide Library Changed My Life campaign.

We are so grateful to have such amazing patrons. Your support and enthusiasm for the library means the world to us. 

Your videos, photos, and quotes have all played a role in helping us advocate for future library funding. Those who shared their stories with us were featured at the Albany Conference on February 7, 2024 for Library Advocacy Day, and we cannot thank you enough for helping us get the word out about all the good libraries do for their communities.

Our staff has been really touched by all the heartwarming stories, and hope that our library continues to be a place where our community can not only feel supported but can thrive as well.
