Did you know that whaling was America's first integrated industry? Discover the remarkable contributions made by African-American whalers, including to the music sailors sang at sea! Explore how West African music influenced sea shanties, Jazz, and Hip Hop, then create your own sistrum- a traditional rattle using shells.
